Andalusia Residents Celebrate Freedom to Enjoy the Good Life

From the capital of the United States to the capital of desert luxury living – Andalusia at Coral Mountain – the whole nation will be celebrating our country’s anniversary this Independence Day – the most American of all holidays. Andalusia residents will be enjoying a community barbecue with family and neighbors featuring traditional Americana fare from the club’s Tapas Restaurant.

When not preparing for a patriotic holiday, Executive Chef Frederic Nail treats the homeowners and their guests to many Spanish and French influenced menu creations, as well as distinctive California cuisine at Tapas. He also tends to an organic herb garden on the premises – the herbs add zest and flavor to many items -- from the restaurant’s hot salsa to refreshing mint Mojitos.

While summer time at Andalusia is quieter than the active season, tennis enthusiasts will still find a good game in the cooler mornings, avid golfers enjoy the incredible Rees Jones course all year long and walkers and cyclers continue to exercise and socialize on the community’s several-mile hiking and biking trail.

All Andalusia homeowners are entitled to use of the impressive facilities at the Racquet Club & Fitness Center facilities which include nine lighted tennis courts, three of which are red clay courts, a 25-meter swimming pool, and state-of-the-art exercise equipment.  Golf memberships are available for a separate fee.

During the season, homeowners enjoy a repertoire of lively theme parties, wine tasting seminars, cooking classes and fitness classes as well as tennis clinics and golf tournaments for the golf members. Throughout the year, several special interest groups meet including two active book clubs, a Canasta club, knitting club and cycling group among others. In fact, residents often comment Andalusia is the friendliest place they have ever lived.

Andalusia’s Spanish-style homes range from approximately 2,757 to 5,089 square feet.  Six elegantly furnished models are open for daily viewing at the Andalusia Sales Pavilion.  All homes have at least three bedrooms, three baths and three-car garages; most plans have an attached or detached casita/guest suite. 

Andalusia currently has several “Move-in-Ready” homes available which have been upgraded with pool, spa, built-in barbecue, landscaping and other features.
